@yle.news: Santa Claus and two reindeer were seen departing Lapland on Monday, marking the start of an annual trip to deliver gifts around the world. The Finnish Broadcasting Company Yle first captured Santa's departure in 1965, and shares the exclusive video with the rest of the world every year.  Other public broadcasters in Europe and further abroad have become accustomed to the tradition, as the video is distributed through the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).
