@itsmrskelly: Wha you give comes back to you. People want to see this at first blush and make a lot of assumption about the things they have done for others - often good - that doesn’t have an immediate return. Being kind, lending money (and getting screwed over), trying your best and failing anyway, and any other number of things where this situation applies. But the truth is that things come back to you in totally different ways, at totally different times. Maybe something good you did years ago that even you have since forgotten will be recognised through a change of circumstance in your present life. Maybe something bad you did might teach you a much needed lesson later on. You can interpret this any amount of ways you’d like but it boils down to this: what you give does come back to you. In a world where every single thing we do has an instant gratification: immediate dopamine hits on social media, someone matching with you on a dating app, food delivered right to your door with a push of a button. We often forget that our human, present life, entirely separate from all of these things takes time. It’s okay if it takes time. Some things we see as slow are just happening at a normal, regular pace, but so much of everything else is happening at breakneck speeds. They’re all different! I’m doing a little year of review from some of the videos that have traversed the many corners of the internet. I hope you enjoy them! I spent my day today with my siblings, children an family.
