Oh I had THIS! They ended up having to deal with a wardrobe wraith that would ‘devour’ pastries off the royal buffet table and regain 20 hp each time 🤣 now they’re about to go against cockatrice where after 10 turns if at least one is still alive another one shows up to help 🤣🤣🤣

lol I had a player say this before in two different games. one game was dnd, that next session was a dungeon meat grinder. the other game was World of Darkness, the next session I almost TPK'd the party 🥳 🎉 😅

Combats can be flipped by dice. Sometimes, the scariest thing you can do is take away that randomness.
