well see now you pair it with both stranglehold and anvil of bogarden. add a flickerwhisp and eldrazi displacement and i believe you no longer have to sacrifice anything to possessed portal since it won't re-enter until after the beginning of your end step. using mana dorks and intruder alarm you could theoretically keep this up until your opponents concede with nothing left on their boards
