@plumbingdoctors: Replying to @dopey On this system where I’m using an underfloor heating manifold to control radiators, I do agree with the comment saying there’s more technology and more to go wrong 🤝 That’s the trade-off ⚖️ More tech = more components, more valves, more controls 🔧 But it also means much better efficiency 🔥 We’re in 2025 📅 — nothing lasts like it used to. If you want higher efficiency, you have to accept more controls and features, and yes, more potential faults ❗ That said 👇 On this system, all the added components used to control each radiator individually — 🧠 actuator heads 🧰 the manifold ⚡ wiring centre 🌡️ thermostats — can all be easily replaced by any competent plumber, not just the original installer 👍 As long as the system is designed properly and installed with the next guy in mind 👷‍♂️ (which this one was), then when something eventually fails — because every system does — it should be straightforward to repair 🔧💪 #Plumber #GasEngineer #UnderfloorHeating #HeatingSystems #SmartHeating
