@warpathministries: Whenever I feel like God is quiet, I remind myself of this truth: the teacher is always quiet during the test. Silence doesn’t mean abandonment. It often means a season of proving, not comfort. God isn’t distant—He’s watching, shaping, and strengthening what faith looks like when feelings fade. There are moments when prayer feels like it hits the ceiling, when the path ahead is dark, and when obedience goes unnoticed. But Scripture reminds us that “Even though I walk through the valley… You are with me” (Psalm 23:4). God never promised constant clarity—He promised His presence. His Word is a lamp to our feet, not a floodlight for the entire road (Psalm 119:105). He gives enough light for the next step because faith is built step by step. So how do we respond when we can’t hear Him? We stand on what He already said. We trust Him beyond our understanding (Proverbs 3:5). We keep showing up when no one is clapping, because we live for an audience of One (Colossians 3:23). Heaven sees what the world ignores. God’s silence never cancels His nearness. “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted” (Psalm 34:18). This isn’t neglect—it’s refinement. If you’re walking through a quiet season, don’t mistake it for absence. Keep walking. Keep trusting. Keep believing.
