Our priest walked in swinging the incense and all these people started coughing- he then proceeded to show them it was empty when he got up front. 🤣

Some people have asthma. My wife is very allergic to heavy perfumes. She get debilitating migraines from it. A little is fine but when the priest refills it multiple times at mass we need to leave. One scoop is more than enough.

Used to happen at my old parish all the time. We installed a quiet exhaust fan up in the ceiling and it pulled most of the smoke up and out to the attic.....then the rectory smoke detectors went off 😅
