Mexicans (and many other latin countries) also celebrate on the 24th. the 25th is for sleeping in and being lazy at least in my family 😂

Absolument pas ! Les cadeaux c'est le 25 au matin en pyjama de Noël puis on se prépare pour le gros repas de Noël de midi à 18h ! Je ne comprends pas d'où vient cette nouvelle mode de faire Noël le 24 ??

Really happy that the 25th and 26th are holidays in Germany and all stores are closed (stores close around 2-4pm on the 24th and reopen on the 27th if is not a sunday)

Perso j’ai tjrs fais le 24 au soir avec un coté de la famille, plus, cadeaux à minuit. Et le 25 midi avec l’autre coté de la famille jusqu’à 18h/20h et les cadeaux après le repas

Portugal - 24th: big dinner with family, we eat codfish or octopus, may have other food depending the Portugal location. 25th: big lunch with family again now eating turkey or lamb (cabrito) from the oven. Again may differ on Portugal’s location. Presents are given around midnight 24 to 25 but it used to be morning 25. The 26th was always a working day except for who took an extra vacation off. Yet it is now inherently getting the Boxing Day too, who knows why…
