he was a riteous man from the jump. he was gonna divorce Mary privately when he found out she was pregnant so he wouldnt shame her. then the angel came and told him to take her in as his wife. and he obeyed.

It was not only that but also because Joseph came from King David's lineage. Jesus is the King of Kings because from His father Joseph's bloodline was King David and King Solomon so Jesus can fulfill His title as the Last and Most Powerful King the World will see and hear about.

A fun fact that my preacher told us is that the region Jesus was from, masonry was a more common trade instead of carpentry. It more than likely got changed to carpentry by Europeans because carpentry for their narrative because masonry wasn’t as common in Europe like the Middle East.

And I have another thought about God being a girls dad, He chose Mary since the beginning to be the mother of Jesus, therefore he made sure she would have a good loving husband, a kind, warm, caring and hardworking man who chose not to humiliate her in public when he found out about her pregnancy, and whose faith was so strong that he believed in God’s plan when the angel came to tell him that Jesus was meant to save the world, he stayed with Mary, he raised God’s son, he was a great man. God always knew that only an amazing man could be good enough to be Mary’s husband and Jesus’ earthly father. So to any girl who pray to God for a good man to marry and have a family, just think about how God protected Mary from bad men and blessed her with a good man 🤍
