Ingredients 1 cup homemade tamarind pulp(seedless) 3 cups water 1–2 inches fresh ginger 3 fresh pieces turmeric 1–2 tbsp palm sugar or raw honey (adjust to taste) Pinch of sea salt (optional, enhances minerals) • Optional add-ins: • Lemongrass stalk (bruised) • Cinnamon stick • Black pepper (for turmeric absorption) Instructions: Blend turmeric and ginger with water and strain. Add the turmeric ginger juice to a pot with honey and tamarind pulp let simmer on low heat 15-20min Enjoy a warm cup! Store leftovers in the fridge. Homemade Tamarind Paste Remove shells of 15-20 dried tamarind pods Soak in water for at least 1 hour Mash and strain through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth. Discard fibers.
