@thinkingcanine: An innocent child was attacked by a dog right on the street in NYC. The dog grabbed on and would not let go. Thanks to bystanders, the child was freed though he was injured. Maybe this dog has never been aggressive before, maybe they have. If you have a dog who is aggressive it is your responsibility to keep others safe and keep them on a muzzle and in my professional opinion a dog that does this type of attack, a dog with this type of aggression does not belong in society. No “rehabilitation”. This dog is a dangerous predator! This type of dog (and I don’t mean the breed, plenty are nice) a dog with predatory aggression or severe uninterruptible aggression towards humans will always be a danger. Do you agree? As a pitbull owner....I think you need to have a license and dog training classes to own certain dog breeds.
