@selenaschorken: One of my New Year’s resolutions for 2025 was to become a stronger interviewer; I wanted to focus on honing my voice and style. So, I got intentional with prep, and pushed myself to find creative ways to approach conversations so they felt warm, thoughtful, and genuinely fun, not just transactional. It was always my hope to bring light and encouragement into every interview, so seeing actors acknowledge that effort has meant the world to me 🥹 That’s not to say I never fumbled a question or felt a spurt of nerves, but this year felt like a lightbulb moment for me in figuring out the kind of journalist I want to be long-term. And it’s exciting to feel like there’s still so much room to grow (def will be bringing this same resolution into 2026). I love this work.
