As a septum girl i can confirm being pierced ONCE hurts less than wearing fake septums all day. It caused irritation and infection. Piercings hurt for a couple of seconds/minutesw

For humans..a septum piercing SHOULDNT hurt at all if done correctly. So I am assume it’s the same idea here.

Piercing doesn’t hurt much at all especially the septum. Cows are much tougher than humans. I rather a quick hole than one made slowly

my septum peircing hurt when i got it done and then about 20 minutes later it felt fine, wearing fakes however is sore, irritating and constantly makes me sneeze

My septum only hurt for a week really (with really good care) so a piercing would be preferable for the calves (I've unfortunately tried the fake septums[magnets] and could not stand it, so if I felt pain the calves probably feel that to)

as someone who undstsnds how bodies work just a little bit. I really like the piercing idea, quick pain and recovery instead of constant pain and pressure.

I have many piercings. Hurts for a min or too, and heals pretty quickly with proper care. Would much rather that than have something rubbing so tight and making things raw, that's a lot more painful and a LOT bigger chance of infection.

I don't have a septum piercing, but i had these clip on earrings before getting my ears pierced... And god... They were awful! The pierced holes on the other side hurt for like 5 seconds after doing them 😅
