@crmnallyobsessed: What began as a routine shoplifting investigation inside an Ohio Walmart escalated in seconds into a near-fatal encounter — all captured on police body camera. Police say 21-year-old Shane Newman, who had an active warrant, was being searched inside a loss-prevention office when he suddenly pulled a concealed handgun and pointed it at an officer. Newman allegedly pulled the trigger, but the gun malfunctioned and did not fire. As the officer held his fire to avoid hitting a Walmart employee, a loss-prevention associate named Conrad Piero tackled Newman, knocking the gun from his hand and preventing a possible shooting. Newman now faces attempted murder, felonious assault on a peace officer, robbery, drug charges, and more. His alleged accomplice, Katerina Jeffrey, was also arrested after police say ammunition was found in her pocket. #truecrime #caughtoncamera
