my family's been going to the same shop since it opened (mom n pop place, but more so just pop his wife had no interest in it) and i remember the day he recognized me. when he was checking me out he needed a name so i give him my first and last and he goes "are you (dads name) and (moms name)'s kid?" and i go "yeah-" he laughed and said "you keep your car a hell of a lot cleaner than your moms!" which it is true, my mom leaves coffee cups all over the floor, there's spills and stains never cleaned while my car is basically spotless outside of some dust on the dash and a bit of dirt in the floor boards
