I got into a rollover accident & was ejected 25 feet from the car during spring break and spent weeks in icu in another state and then at home. I finally went back to school and a girl I had never met came up to me and said I thought you were dead? The principal had sent out an email about our accident because 3 of us were in the accident and two of us were in critical condition and all the teachers read it to the kids. It was such a surreal feeling. I was asked to write a poem on it in my creative writing class and I was so shy so the teacher made everyone put their heads down as I read it and when I was finished everyone lifted their heads and were sobbing. The only person who didnt put her head down was my best friend and tears were streaming down her face as I read it and kept looking at her to keep going.

My art teacher shot himself with a shotgun. I adored that man. Waited years to get his class. When he didn't show up that day..I knew something was wrong. A couple periods later they found him at his house..they sent an email and the teachers read it to us. The minute he started I started crying..I just knew. I stayed late the day before working on something..I was the last person there to see him I just wish I would have known..

Experiencing your first loss is such a weird and heartbreaking experience. Especially at such a young age. For me, seeing a classmate everyday, seeing her smile, hearing her laugh, having her friendship. Then suddenly it's gone. I'll never forget the passing of my classmates 💔

our small town school you find out almost immediately. at the end of every school year for awards there's a memorial chair with a candle if we lose a kid. and at graduation they do a ceremony for the kid and take attendance. we also have a memorial in front of the school for all of the ones we lost. it's heartbreaking

I was an extra for this entire show! This was the coolest experience and Denny is so sweet, gave me his jacket when it was FREEZINGGGG out (it was actually winter and in the show it was supposed to be summer at the time)
