If I could tattoo 5 things onto my clients’ foreheads as a full-time, high-impact life coach who has coached thousands of people into real, uncomfortable, life-altering transformation… …this would be it: (and yes, I mean tattoo. Like permanent. No refunds. No laser removal. You wake up and boom—there it is every morning when you try to brush your teeth and avoid your own life.) 1. Stop talking. Get into your nervous system. I love awareness. I love insight. I love a good “aha” moment. But you cannot think your way out of a dysregulated body. You can understand yourself perfectly… and still be living the same patterns on repeat. If it’s not in your body, it’s not integrated. ⸻ 2. Stop hiring people who coach to your limitations instead of your potential. This one is big. There are people who will sit with you, validate every reason you can’t change, build frameworks around your patterns, and help you feel deeply understood… …and you will not move an inch. Limitations are not identities. They’re opportunities. Hire people who stretch you. Who see you beyond your current behavior. Who don’t let your past dictate your ceiling. Don’t build a life around the lowest common denominator of what you can do. ⸻ 3. Victim mentality will keep you stuck for years. This isn’t about what happened to you. That matters. This is about what you do next. There is a version of you that uses your story as evidence… and a version that uses it as fuel. The opposite of victim is creator. One waits. One builds. ⸻ 4. The word “narcissist” is keeping them in the lead role. Every time you center your healing around someone else’s behavior, you’re handing them main character energy in your story. I don’t care what they are. I care about where you are. If your entire narrative is about them, you’re still orbiting them. And that is not freedom. ⸻ 5. A diagnosis can explain you… but it will not empower you. Yes—language matters. Framework matters. But the second your diagnosis becomes your identity, you’ve built a ceiling over your own life. “I am this way because…” vs. “I learned this, and I can learn something else.” One closes the loop. One opens it. ⸻ 6. Pain is part of growth. Not a sign you’re doing it wrong. You don’t get to an authentic life by avoiding discomfort. You get there by becoming fluent in it. There are different flavors of discomfort— and your nervous system knows the difference. The work is learning how to listen… instead of run. ⸻ You can keep trying to feel better… or you can learn how to be with what you feel and actually change your life. ⸻ Get out of your head. Get into your nervous system. That’s where everything you’re looking for actually lives. #lifecoach #traumatok #fyp
