My daughter was the same way and I would also want her to wake up in the middle of the night. She’s 12 now, she still sleeps through the night but gives the best morning snuggles

My daughter is 18 months and she still wakes up maybe once a night and I rock her back to sleep but I get you because I get excited to hold her again because I do miss her after she goes to bed but do sometimes get exhausted in those middle of the night wakes

My son is 2 1/2 and has woken up every single night since he was four months old lol. So I definitely get my fair share of cuddles with him. That's for sure.

My son slept through the night from birth to about 3.5 (he’s now 4) and I LOVE when he wakes up in the middle of the night because I cherish our 3am conversations and just hearing his sleepy talks! Cherish it all!
