@thepolyglotfox: You know I'm always gonna tell you the truth 👇🏾 Yes, you bring with you your adult experiences as you learn and that changes a lot, but stop expecting fluency in 30 days. I always say, it's like playing a game in a genres you know. You know the mechanics, how it works, the rules and the controls. But it's a new game and you don't have a save. You're starting from the very beginning. Enjoy the journey, have fun, and keep going! Stop focusing on what you don't know yet, and use what you already know. Learn how to explain things with the words you do have. Practice listening to things and sitting with the discomfort of not knowing everything. Watch with subtitles in other languages and guess what's going on through context.
