Gosh I wish I saw this at 25. This year, I just got my drivers license at 26, technically just graduated highschool in January this year (got my GED), started a small business I’ve had the dream of doing for 8 years, lost 45 pounds, quit vaping after 9 years, started burlesque and rock climbing and have a new love for my body and sense of self. At 25 I was depressed overweight and lost, full of guilt and shame for waiting so long. But It gets better! And it’s never too late to do what you love or start over. I became sick at 17 with a mysterious ilness. My life stopped there. I am 25 now and I don't have a full recovery yet and I can't even tell people that I lost so many years due to an ilness because it sounds unbelievable....

I’m a singer songwriter but for years didn’t do anything relating to music and developed crippling stage fright. Felt like the dreams I had were completely done for-but had this strong sense that if I didn’t pursue it I’d spend the rest of my life regretting it. I also didn’t drive until this year! I started going after my music dreams at 27. I’m now 29, 30 in a couple of months and I’m now gigging all the time, I bought my first car and can drive myself to gigs, I’m recording my songs and set to release them next year, I’m doing the thing! I hope you get to follow your dreams too, it’s so worth it ❤️

I’m 30, can’t drive, been single nearly 10 years and work in hospitality and feel the exact same, it’s like a lost feeling in a constant loop, but working to break it too, we will all get there I’m sure of it, stay strong 🙂

I’m also 25 and have worked in hospitality since I turned 18. I got a first class honours in social sciences and have a law diploma too, I spent 2 years pursuing a Scots law degree. I just want to say, YOU are never a failure. Everyone’s life path is so insanely different. And I know more than anyone how it feels to feel so stuck and alone in trying to figure out what it is that I’ll do with my life whilst simultaneously comparing myself to everyone else around me who seems to be thriving and have their shit together. You are exactly where you need to be and I know that you will have an incredible and fulfilling life, please don’t put pressure on yourself to have everything figured out, we are still SO young and have our whole lives to figure it out ❤️
