And even if they changed and they became the best person there is out there you will never be able to get over the betrayal even if you gaslight yourself into thinking you’re over it it will always haunt you for the rest of your life as you stay with them and it will slowly built-up resentment which will end up poisoning the relationship which isn’t fair for the both of you and it’s best that you leave on the first sight because no matter how much they change it it doesn’t remove the pain they’ve caused you.
