Robert Baratheon was a warrior that was not a king. Like the video said, he focused on past history and glory rather than the present splurging beyond what the coffers could offer and pounding the kingdom into debt that couldn't be repaid. he may have been a great warrior and even general, but not a king and thus why the kingdom crumbled after his death, there was no line of succession and a return to "birthright rule" instead of continued "earned rule"
