No it didnt… it could’ve worked out if I listened to the boundaries she set and just did what she was asking of me as her bare minimum. For whatever reason I couldn’t do it, truly only after i realised I had lost her was when i realised how easy it was to do what she was asking of me and we wouldn’t be in this position now. Currently she even has a new guy whom she met organically and even said I love you to each other. It’s as if 5 years of us being together was reduced to nothing for her

That’s a hard thing to swallow a lot of times when you’re with somebody for 32 years. But when I think about those three decades together, more than half my life with my ex-wife together, it definitely had moments that should never have had the marriage continue.

At least I know in myself that I tried to make it work. I stayed long that I shouldn't have. I gave more than he deserves. I didn't regret any of that, because I loved. My love wasn't wrong. It was just to the wrong person.
