I tried adopting once, they asked for my pay stubs, pictures and square footage of my home and backyard. for a CAT. im in a 260k a year household but that wasnt enough. safe to say I went to craigslist instead. adopting is HARD.

Just know most dogs in the shelters suffer from kennel stress and then act perfectly good when out of the kennels unfortunately most of our shelties act this way and do SUPER GOOD in foster

i hate how many people automatically assume shelter dogs have either behavioral issues or medical issues.. have yall ever volunteered at a shelter? these dogs just want love 😭 yes there can be dogs who have behavioral issues, but that’s why you had to at least go to a shelter and see your options…
