Either due to complications, or because the likelihood of domestic violence turning to outright murder increases pretty sharply, or due to medical neglect of pregnant people in the name of saving a fetus.

A lot of men romanticize their parents’ and grandparents’ relationships/families bc they’re unaware of their mother’s and grandmother’s sacrifices. They just walk around, enjoying the benefits of her work. Meanwhile women are fully aware bc the moms and grandmas warn them.

“His mom isn’t even like his mom” is lowkey a true statement because deadass studies have found that after 3 kids you tend to give certain ones less attention. You expect them to become more responsible for the other and you have less and less energy to be able to properly engage with your kids.
