people need to understand that not every repair has to last 50 years. it's likely this is a temporary solution until something more permanent can be put in either because of time or money.

Don’t be putting metal nut to Abs threads. Shit don’t line up. Use ABS slip nut or plastic. Also why not change out the whole tub waste and galvanized nipple if your already down there
