Use a valve stem. Or, now hear me out, fully depress the brake pedal once system pressure is broken and use a pedal depressor to hold brake pedal down while servicing system. Also a great way to perform the battery endurance test with the rear brake lights. Hint: disconnect brake switch or battery if extended repair, ex. Running all new brake lines.
