Tbh I feel like the deer isn’t a reference of peace. But a reference of regret and memories that Arthur could’ve had. I mean, after all, Arthur Morgan is still an outlaw who killed a lot of people, he could do good deeds but that doesn’t really make him a good person. I don’t think Arthur found peace back then..but the deer was resembling regret and memories he could’ve had if he wasn’t so focused in his outlaw life.
