Time for a reintroduction because I don’t know what’s this account is either!

Hi my name is Allison and I’m a full-time baker. In 2022, I went to pastry school (so you don’t have to)
 Just kidding! I went because I no longer wanted to be a doctor and I had no idea what else to do with my life. If I was gonna sit in an office all day, I needed to follow my dream first and go to pastry school. I loved my lab though (shout out Moseman Lab!)

So I took a gap semester during college and went to pastry school in France! I started making videos to document the experience for my friends and family. But then a bunch of other people starting watching too!

After I graduated from pastry school I went back to college to finish my degree, but really I spent most of that time baking…

So instead of studying my friends and I ran a restaurant out of their apartment

Or we made sandwiches and giant tiramisus and sold them

And then I graduated, but instead of being a ‘real’ adult I just continued to bake things…

At some point I also sold cookies on NYC park benches. 
And made some pretty cool croquembouches.

And also a 10 ft long cake.

Sometimes I make dessert recipes. Sometimes I teach you how to make those desserts. Sometimes I deliver those desserts to people. 

I have no idea what’s going on either. I think I just like baking stuff and I hope you like it too. Thank you for following along to see what the heck I do next. 🫶
