Prayer is the pillar of the religion and the greatest act of worship after the two testimonies of faith. It is the strong connection between the servant and his Lord. Allah, the Exalted, made it obligatory for Muslims five times a day so that it becomes a cause of peace of heart, forgiveness of sins, and increase in faith. The correct prayer is the one a Muslim performs with humility and tranquility, following the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ in his words and actions. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Pray as you have seen me pray.” A Muslim begins his prayer with purity and proper wudu, covering the awrah and facing the qiblah, then intends the prayer in his heart. After that, he opens the prayer with the opening takbir, saying: “Allahu Akbar,” while raising his hands in line with his shoulders or ears. Then he recites the opening supplication (du‘a al‑istiftah) if he wishes, and after it he recites Al‑Fatiha in every rak‘ah because it is one of the essential pillars of the prayer. Then he recites whatever he can of the Noble Qur’an. After finishing the recitation, he bows (ruku‘) with humility, placing his hands on his knees and saying: “Subhana Rabbiyal ‘Azim” (Glory be to my Lord the Magnificent), making sure to be calm and not hasty. Then he rises from bowing, standing upright and saying: “Sami‘a Allahu liman hamidah” (Allah hears those who praise Him), then: “Rabbana wa laka al‑hamd” (Our Lord, to You is all praise). After that, he prostrates (sujud) on the seven body parts: the forehead with the nose, the two hands, the two knees, and the two feet, saying: “Subhana Rabbiyal A‘la” (Glory be to my Lord the Most High), and he makes sure to be humble during prostration, as it is one of the closest positions in which the servant is near his Lord. Then he sits between the two prostrations, saying: “Rabbighfir li” (My Lord, forgive me), then performs the second prostration, and these actions are repeated in the remaining rak‘ahs according to their number. In the final sitting, he recites the Tashahhud and the Ibrahimic supplication, then concludes his prayer with the salam to the right and left, saying: “As‑salamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullah” (Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah). Among the important pillars of the prayer: standing when able, the opening takbir, reciting Al‑Fatiha, bowing (ruku‘), rising from it, prostration (sujud), sitting between the two prostrations, tranquility, the final Tashahhud, sending prayers upon the Prophet ﷺ, and the salam. Among the recommended acts in the prayer: raising the hands when saying takbir, placing the right hand over the left on the chest, reciting the opening supplication, reflecting on the verses, and maintaining complete humility throughout the prayer. Prayer is not just movements a Muslim performs, but a great act of worship that lights up the heart, brings comfort to the soul, and increases the servant’s closeness to Allah, the Exalted. The more a Muslim maintains it with sincerity and humility, the more he feels tranquility and happiness in his life. #تلاوة_خاشعة_صوت_يدخل_قلب #راحه_وطمأنينه_للقلب #IslamicReels
