As someone who has an Asian mother and a white father. This was the hardest part my mom had to understand. Because i would say “bye love you” to most of my really close friends. And obviously my wife. When I was dating my wife, then gf at the time, she thought I was cheating. But no, just platonic bromance and friendship love
