Cellular Energy is where to start... NAD+ plays an important role in cellular energy — and our NAD+ levels naturally decline as we age. That’s one reason supporting my cellular health has become part of my healthy-aging routine. Here are 3 things I focus on: 1. My morning routine ☀️ Before coffee, I start with: 🧬 My NAD+ supplement 💪 Creatine 💧 A large glass of water 🌱 2 tsp chia seeds 🍋 Fresh lemon 🥛 Followed by high-protein yogurt or a protein drink I’m not looking for a miracle morning routine. I’m building habits that support hydration, muscle and overall cellular health. 2. Mostly whole foods 🥗 I focus on foods that nourish my body: Lean protein Vegetables Fruit Healthy fats Whole-food carbohydrates I don't chase restrictive diets anymore. 3. Protein + muscle 💪 After 50, maintaining muscle has become one of my biggest priorities. Protein helps provide the building blocks needed to maintain and repair muscle, and resistance exercise gives that muscle a reason to stay. For me, healthy aging isn't about doing something extreme. It's about supporting my body consistently — from muscle and hydration to cellular energy. And that's where NAD+ became interesting to me. NAD+ is a molecule our cells use in processes involved in energy metabolism and normal cellular function, and NAD+ levels can decline with age. I don't expect one supplement to do everything. It's simply one part of the healthy-aging routine I'm building. At 58, I don't need a harder plan. I need habits I can actually keep. Start smaller. Make it easier. Repeat longer. 💬 Comment “NAD” and I'll send you the NAD+ supplement I've added to my routine.
