One day in 1984 an old tech at the shop I worked at saw a wide trail of oil under a car he just changed the oil on . The trail started in the parking lot and he followed it all the way down the street . He never found the car and we never heard from the car owner again . Should have seen how fast he chased that car when he discovered the mishap but he wasn’t fast enough . I’m sure he never forgot that day .
