(FYI, get my step-by-step Shoulder Program on sale in @theptinitiative profile Link!) . The Levator Scapulae muscle might be the source of that pain you feel. -- 🤓This muscle connects the top inside corner of the shoulder blade to the neck. - ✌🏽Two issues I see frequently with patients who have pain here are: Poor scapular upward rotation (esp above shoulder level) Lack of overhead mobility — ❌Both can lend themselves to using this muscle in a compensatory pattern, thus the up and down pattern of improvement that's common here. — This can also be linked to one shoulder feeling out of balance and sitting differently than the other side. --- 🎯These are two of my favorite exercises for loosening up this pesky muscle and improving proper movement around the neck and shoulders. - 🔑As with any pain/injury...soft tissue work paired with strengthening is the key to long term improvement! 🔥👉🏽Need a proven shoulder rehab and mobility plan?
