This touches on Layla’s past… and shows that even before she was born, her path and fate were already being shaped. To this day, Layla still asks herself why she had to run. Back then, she was only a growing cub. She didn’t understand what was happening… why her pride was attacked by other lions, why fear filled the night, or why she was forced to flee. One by one, her pride fell behind her… until she was the only one left running. Even now, she doesn’t know what truly happened that night… or why she survived, while everyone she loved stayed behind and died. Lyrics rewritten by me, to fit Layla’s story.
