1 hour per unit after you have drunk the first unit+ 1 hour. Gor reference a pint of beer is 2 units. so 5 pints will take at least 11 hours to digest once you have consumed the first pint. Always allow more time than you think. So many other factors can play a part in this.

I find it disturbing that people go out for example to a pub at lunch time have more than one pint and get in their car and drive and I’ve witnessed this.!
