Today we met several amazing dogs at the shelter! Here’s the breakdown: • Maple – Rescue only. She is due to give birth any day now and needs a rescue experienced with moms and pups. The shelter made her rescue only to ensure she and her puppies are spayed/neutered and fully vaccinated before adoption. She is scheduled for euthanasia tomorrow, Monday 12/1, if no rescue steps in. • Jody Mae – Not in immediate danger, but space is limited, and no dog can stay indefinitely. She’s a beautiful, dog friendly lab, a bit overweight, and pulls on the leash. She will need a rescue or adopter soon to avoid being at risk. • Bronco – Has a committed rescue ready to help, but he urgently needs a local foster for only two weeks. Just two weeks can save his life! • Parker (A2044532) – Only 6 months old and unfortunately in danger of euthanasia tomorrow. He has his whole life ahead of him and desperately needs an adopter, rescue or foster placement. 🛑 Before you comment something unkind, please understand this: I receive the euthanasia list from the shelter between 1–3PM, and the deadline to save the listed dogs is 1PM the following day. This timing is completely out of my control. I can’t take every dog home or hold any dog for anyone for any period of time, I already have several dogs and fosters in my care. 📌 Please contact BARC if you are local and can help!
