I dont care about a hairline. BUT I could see how people see their hair as a security blanket if they dont find themselves attractive or if they have deep insecurities. Nearly losing my hair made me really evaluate my personal insecurities. I think its a "I will be judged" even if they won't. Shaming people for anything not typical has been SO prevalent until very recently. It was "normal" to tease about things we cant help or "fix". The world is different now, but deep seated insecurities are influenced by previous behaviors from others or media. Just imo 😊

If it makes them look old then you may unconsciously not be attracted to them. Along the same lines, men are attracted to younger partners generally, and balding that makes them look older can make them appear to be too old for those folks

my man lost his hair in his early 20s due to hashimotos ,he shaved it off early on ..I think he looks so handsome ..no hairstyle would suit him better than his ball head 🖤

The best way I can explain it is that in my community when your hairline starts going you’re the ass and every single job and someone’s always got something to say. I’m just as insecure with my size. I am my hairline. Having dreadlocks from 2019 to 2021 really messed up my hair growth pattern and I wasn’t sure that I was ever gonna have a hair again.

When I saw slight receding in my 20's. I became a little insecure. The thoughts were like: " He's older than me, yet he doesn't have a single receding point in his hairline". Feelings like these just fade away overtime and now I'm in my 30's and I still have majority of my hair minus the slight receding. I'm happy if I can keep my hair till my 40's. After that I'm fine with going naturally bald.
