Speaking of the lucrehulk and it's use by the seperatist droid navy during the clone wars, I believe a good in universe explanation for why the seperatist alliance's navy had some of them, the ships that where in the CIS droid navy, where under nute gunray's control back when they were a member of the trade federation

i do love the lucrehult is the best sepratist ships in terms of armour,defense and fire power,the problem is its insanly HUGE and having multiple munificant class instead of a few lucrehults is a game changer as wars are won by numbers as shown multiple times,but it is a perfect capital ship
