@nomadjeffy: ❌ Don’t go to Liberty Island just to see the Statue of Liberty. It’s packed with tourists, expensive, and the lines are insanely long. And honestly there is not much you can do on the island besides seeing the statue. The whole trip almost took me 5 hours to finish! ✅ Instead, take the Staten Island Ferry. It’s completely free. 📍Staten Island Ferry 4 Whitehall St, New York, NY 10004 When you get there, ignore the scammers selling fake tickets and just follow the signs for the ferry Once you’re on, stand on the right side of the boat and you will see an incredible view of the Statue of Liberty on the way — all for $0. When you get to Staten Island, simply hop back on the returning ferry and head back to Manhattan. The ferry runs every 15-30 minutes.
