Everyone blaming the mom and kid. It’s clear the dad is an abuser and this isn’t the first time something like this happened. The dad punched screamed at him, verbally abusive, physically abusive, kid tried to get away from him and dad followed him. Wouldn’t let kid leave him room. Dad physically attacked the kid. And it’s clear this is something that happens a lot. The kid was tired of being abused and scared what the dad was going to do to him and no one was helping him. He did what he thought he needed to do to protect himself. And he’s just a kid!!

He just said he left the knife on the ground. Which means the mom picked it up (tampered with evidence) and put it in the sink then played dumb while letting officers search for it.

Pre meditation… intent. He went in his room to grab the knife. That is why mom kept repeating that he keeps that knife in his pocket. She knew him going to the room to get the knife after the altercation started would look very bad for him. Mom is a huge red flag 🚩
