🚨URGENT FINAL NOTICE WILL BE EUTHANIZED 🚨 Bigsby didn't get off to the best start at Carson, but who can blame him? He was found as a stray at the end of May and nobody came forward to claim him. But once he got settled, he totally turned things around. He was on his best behavior when our lead volunteers took him out, and they were able to prove to staff that he should be made publicly adoptable. Pretty much every video that's been shared in our group of this big boy is him sitting right next to (or sometimes on top of) someone, wanting pets. He knows sit on command, takes treats nicely, and seems to especially like ear scratches. Bigsby's ideal home would be one that understands his need to decompress and gain trust. In playgroup he socialized nicely with female dogs but was not a fan of male dogs (he also wasn't neutered at the time which can affect things). He has the potential to be such a loving dog if you give him that initial patience to feel safe. Unfortunately this time of year produces the highest volume of stray intakes, and Carson's kennel capacity is lower than normal this year.
