Had a meeting with my accountant earlier this year. Pulled up in my clapped out 13 Silverado with 230k and some rust on her. After that meeting my accountant came outside and was saying bye and he laughed at my truck! I just said you know I use to care and want the nicest vehicle but I just don’t care anymore. As long as it’s reliable and has ac/heat and a good radio I’m good. He looked at me and said I’m not laughing at you. He said you’ve always been successful driven and I laughed because most of my most successful business owners who could walk into any dealership and write them a check drive old pickups because they don’t care to be flashy. He said you’re well on your way!

It depends on person. I know business owners that def drive fancy cars & make it more obvious that they are well off but in other ways they are laid back. And I also knew someone that was well off but did lot of physical labor that drove the same old truck forever & wore simple clothes. Well , it’s not all true , I think the instagram thing is more about the person than their net worth , on the brands , I just buy brands that are actually nice products , I love target cloths . But I like Tag watches , I like nice cars , so I have a fun one but just drive my jeep or rover most days Becuase I’m too lazy to climb in and out of the sporty one . And there is a world of difference between wealth and rich .
