Bro why we hating on ts. Dc and marvel do it all the time, how many times has Batman fought joker or spiderman fought green goblin, or flash fighting reverse flash. It’s the same. AND it’s not a state movie from the second, it’s a continuation as in a part 2 because the second movie was gonna be like 6 hours. So thy split it up into 2

Cameron has built a very powerful saga visually, but narratively very conservative…the problem is not that the films recall each other, but that they replicate the same scheme: humans arrive, devastate Pandora, the Na'vi resist, are about to lose, Eywa comes and overturn everything. It happens in the first movie, in the second and again in the third, changing only the environment (forest, ocean...) but not the dynamics…the first one shouldn't have a sequel, it was perfect, they are not bad…just the same🥲

Yeah agreed. It's beautiful to see, terrible to watch, if that makes sense. Mind blowing cinematography but let down but repetitive plot, poor dialogue and some characters that are dreadfully acted. Won't bother with 4 and 5 if it's yet another rehash 🤷

Cameron really needs to move on from this franchise the story was just déjà vu it is visually stunning and the soundtrack is amazing. The whole thing with Spider just really ticked me off so convenient.

I thought the villain was amazing - until they inexplicably sidecast her. I don't understand why, because up until that point, she was the strongest part of the film. just my opinion.

I understand people are criticizing the movie but you have to understand that the first one was hated when it came out especially bc of the whole “white savior” movie trope. So my thing is, make sure you watch a breakdown of the movie on YouTube before criticizing it to harshly. Maybe you’ll come out liking it more than you thought you would🤷🏼♂️
