In Asia it is packed full and theyre like 5-8 floors. The difference is the malls in Asia is a mix of world brands anchors, local brands, and unique local anchors. In America you go to one mall it’s 90% the same stores as any other mall in America.

Santa Monica Place’s main problem is the cruciform layout. That means if you want to see each level, you have to travel the length of each spoke 6 times.

let me be very clear, the most frustration I ever had was in the grove parking lot. not enough spaces, spent 1.5 hours looking for parking for a movie

Third floor is a ghost town. Wandering away from the center feels like you’re on the verge of getting lost. The energy is way off. The only place that feels right is the Louis Vuitton main entrance area.
