The sacrifice isn't just the fact that He died, its what He died for. If you think about it, He took all the sin in the world, past, present, and future, and He had to become what He and the Father hated most, He had to become the worst person to ever step up on the earth the moment He picked up that cross to the moment He died. He took that punishment for us, because that would've been and should be us due to our sin, but since He came and took that sacrifice we are now able to repent for our sins and instead of spending eternity in damnation we get to spend it with God, our Father. I hope this makes sense!

If you read the Bible you would know how loving God coming into this world because of our sin and how back in the Old Testament people would sacrifice animals every time they sinned. So Jesus died for our sins so we wouldn’t have to sacrifice to be clean. He washed us clean by HIS BLOOD
