sorry but Facebook was doing this long ago. it's commonly known that Facebook would show you things that were controversial because that kept you engaged. The difference with tiktok is I truly believe that they are listening to your conversations. it's uncanny how I'll talk about something and then a video appears on that very topic

Well not the very next video. They update your feed asynchronously. So you have like 8 preloaded videos or something , and that is so you never have to wait for a ‘loading video’ but those are preloaded , so it wouldn’t change the next scroll, maybe after the 8th scroll tho

nah, Youtube used to be fun for hours, now it recommends the same 100 videos ive already seen. Instagram is nothing but AI vids, FB,Snap, and Reddit arent as fast/interesting entertainment. Gamers stay on COD, GTA V, Fortnite, & Minecraft for same lack of Scrolling interest.

idk if we are on the US only algorithm now but its so boring, you watch one video and thats all I see for the next few days and then I get random 0 likes 0 views videos. No variety anymore, no discovery of new topics, its not as addictive
