I can’t believe we’ve made it to the final day of the 12 Days of Foodmas, where we’ve been showing you all of the best Christmas food in Sydney this year🎄🎅🏻 It’s been a few years since we’ve been back to the UK for Christmas, and Matt was craving a traditional English Christmas roast, so for Day 12 of Foodmas, we headed to Duke of Clarence for their Christmas Sunday roast🍗🇬🇧 We came here last year as part of our Sydney Sunday roast series (saved on our TT playlists!), and to be honest, we weren’t too impressed🫣 BUT we will say the roast was better than we remembered from last time - veg quality has improved, more bacon around the pigs in blankets, better Yorkies, and still that delicious gravy🤤 Cons were that the plate was missing stuffing (can’t have a Christmas roast without stuffing, apparently🤣), and the turkey was quite dry and bland. We’ve heard the beef and lamb roasts are better, but the traditional English Christmas main is turkey, so we wanted to replicate the meal as close as possible!
