make the U part wider like 7 inches instead of 3 inches to distrobute the preasure over a longer strech of the weld line hence reducing the pressure and stress on the weld line per length unit.

Yeah, you're not supposed to jack the car up from the body panels or anything else other than the frame. so this is an enabling accessory to ruin your car and not do the right thing

it's bc thr jack doesn't go on the pinch weld. it goes under a solid part of the frame
