It is so many… or like they make odd or rude comments about women they visit and it is quite off-putting. I really like Sabbatical (Tommy) he seems like just a regular dude and I haven’t gotten weird vibes and he takes time to learn the language of a lot of countries he visits.

It’s not just vloggers. There is this really weird channel called Attic Life where they record interviews with people who have moved to Balkan nations. These people generally say positive things about the local culture, people, food, etc, but say some suspicious things that I would think are more than just “sprinkles”. One man who was interviewed had said that he stopped needing to take his ADHD meds after moving there. The same man also had some not-so-nice things to say about the LGBTQ community. I think something is going on

Vloggers who do poverty tourism (ie visiting slums/extremely undeveloped countries and filming the destitution there) draw the same audience that gore sites do. It’s gratification from shock and the audience for that skews right

We had a taste of that when RedBook was the app everyone was running to when TT was threatened of going away. I know China is developed/safe in many areas but it’s not as ‘free’ & wonderful as many Americans were proclaiming. They hated America so much…I wonder where they are today.🤔
